Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada & Tetsuya Naito Confirmed For London's NJPW Royal Quest
New Japan Pro Wrestling provide huge update on UK event...
New Japan Pro Wrestling have today confirmed that Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito will all appear at the August 31st Royal Quest show.
Tickets aren't yet on sale, though the company again shared a link for pre-sale information for the event taking place at London's Copper Box Arena. Further announcements on sales will likely follow soon to capitalise on the buzz around 'The Ace', 'The Rainmaker' and the Los Ingobernables de Japon leader all filling out spots on the card.
The organisation had last week promised "top stars" for the show, following a two-night link-up with Revolution Pro Wrestling in 2018 that saw Kazuchika Okada, Minoru Suzuki and others join forces with the Rev-Pro roster for interpromotional shows similar to prior events featuring others from the British Independent circuit. In contrast, Royal Quest will officially be considered NJPW's inaugural show in the country, particularly in the wake of this newest update.
Making light of the public challenges they've faced arranging working agreements for talent in the United States of late, NJPW's Global Twitter account jovially added that "The best part is, they all have visas!".
