Hornswoggle Makes Cameo On AEW Dynamite
Ex-WWE wrestler Hornswoggle showed up as The Inner Circle slew Las Vegas.
Former WWE wrestler Hornswoggle made a surprise cameo on last night's AEW Dynamite.
This came during one of the Inner Circle Slays Las Vegas segments. In a scene taking clear influence from The Hangover, the heel stable were waking up from a big night out, finding their luxury suite looking like a bombsite. Detritus from the night before littered their environment, from empty bottles to live chickens (!), and 'Swoggle showed up when Chris Jericho following the sound of what appeared to be a crying baby into a bedroom.
Baby? Nope, just Hornswoggle in a diaper. "Guys!", yelled Jericho. "We got a problem!".
Hornswoggle wasn't the night's only cameo, though. Ex-WCW star Konnan had shown up earlier on, inviting The Inner Circle into his limousine after being introduced by Santana and Ortiz. "I always got the best stuff, and I know exactly what you need," said Konnan. Seconds later, the stable were emerging from a smoke-filled car.
This is a sweet little Impact Wrestling easter egg, as Konnan managed Santana and Ortiz as the new LAX prior to the duo leaving for AEW, leading them to war against Eddie Kingston's OGz.
