House Of Black Return, Destroy EVERYONE On AEW Dynamite
Black, King, Matthews, and Hart kill them all in huge AEW Dynamite comeback.
The House Of Black are back on AEW television in a big way, destroying Best Friends, Orange Cassidy, Rocky Romero, the entire Factory sans Anthony Ogogo, and a multitude of trainees and extras on last night's Dynamite.
Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews' return was preceded by Julia Hart. Soundtracked by new music (courtesy of the indomitable Deadbody), Julia appeared on the stage bathed in red light while The Factory and their babyface counterparts were preparing to fight, which came after QT Marshall's microphone had died mid-sentence.
Hart's presence was a distraction for the House to strike. Black, Matthews, and King hit the ring from behind Best Friends (and friends), beating them down to the joy of The Factory, who applauded their efforts. QT's crew were next to the slaughter, however, eating dirt as the House went on a full-on rampage, taking their beatdown to the ramp, where extras and trainees streamed down, trying to quell the violent tide.
It didn't work. The dominant angle closed with the House at the top of the ramp and Malakai on the microphone. "Members of the House Of Black," he said, "please rise."
Thus closed a dominant comeback after several months of inactivity. Matthews and Black had both been rumoured to be on their way out of AEW at one point, though talk of a "conditional release" was denied, eventually, by Malakai. Not seen on television since September, the trio is nonetheless back - and seemingly more chaotic than ever.
