I love TNA. I love Jakks Pacific. I was so excited when Jakks announced that they acquired the license to make TNA action figures. I was so pumped. I loved what Jakks had done with the WWE license from the Ruthless Aggression figures, to the Deluxe figures, to the Classic Superstars line. Jakks gave us, without a doubt, the best years of wrestling figures when they had the WWE license. Since Jakks acquired the TNA line in 2010, weve gotten 10 sets of figures. Just ten! When Jakks had WWE we would get more than 10 sets a year! Its safe to say that I am disappointed with the TNA line of figures, in the amount that we get. I love the figures. I really do. I get excited every time they announce a new line-up. Unfortunately, that seems to be once every 6-8 months. I really wish Jakks would try and put some more effort into their TNA line. I dont know if its because they dont sell well, or if there is some sort of issue with money. I dont know why we arent getting new figures on a regular basis. I would love nothing more than for me to get put in charge of the TNA line. I dont know how that would happen but I can dream, cant I? If I were put in charge, the first thing I would do is change the line from Deluxe to Ruthless Aggression. I like the Deluxe figures, but the backlash Jakks got when they announced it wouldnt be RA was ridiculous. It was/is clear that RA is the more popular option. Besides, making them RA would mean that they would fit, height/size wise, with everyones WWE figures. Whether you are playing with the figures, or just a collector, that is something people want. Another thing I would do is get rid of the two-packs. Jakks pretty much already has, but TNA doesnt have THAT many stars. So having a two-pack line and a single line just doesnt really make sense to me. Another thing I would is try to get some previous TNA workers to contracts. That way we can get more Classic figures. Jakks is great at doing a Classic line, theyve showed us that. Now, I know Im not aware of Jakkss or TNAs financials so all of these suggestions are if money wasnt an issue. If they could do all of this, this is what I would want to see happen. I would also try to apply a strategy to get more out of the talent they have. Id have the first three sets of new, first time figures. The next three sets would have two people from each of the first three sets in a different attire or a classic version of the star. So, if I got put in charge and money wasnt an issue, this is what I would want the TNA line to be: Ruthless Impact Series 1 AJ Styles (Current No One Look) Bully Ray (Current Aces & Eights Look) Hulk Hogan (Current Look) Jeff Hardy (Current Look) Sting (Current Look) Kurt Angle (Current Look) Ruthless Impact Series 2: Bobby Roode (Current Look) Austin Aries (Current Look) Chris Sabin (Current Look) Christopher Daniels (Current Look) Kazarian (Current Look) Samoa Joe (Current Look) Ruthless Impact Series 3: Chavo Guerrero (Current Look) Devon (Current Aces & Eights look) Mr. Anderson (Current Aces & Eights look) Magnus (Current Look) Rampage Jackson (Current Look) Mickie James (Current Look) Ruthless Impact Series 4: AJ Styles (Classic Look. (Current Look) Hernandez (Current Look) Well, there it is: a sample of how I would run the TNA line. Thank you for reading. What do you want to see happen with the TNA line?
