How Many Matches Goldberg REALLY Has Left On WWE Contract
Goldberg speaks on his pro wrestling future, revealing how long he has left in WWE.
Goldberg has revealed he has only a single match left on his WWE contract.
Speaking with the Ring Rules show while touring Saudi Arabia with the promotion last week, Goldberg said that despite his contract's impending expiration, he feels like he still has some gas left in the tank:-
"I still feel as though I can wrestle. I still feel as though I can entertain. After this match, I have one more match on my contract and that's it. We'll see what happens, you never know."
Goldberg's last match went down in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he defeated Bobby Lashley in a No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere bout at Crown Jewel 2021 (21 October). WWE is yet to confirm a return date for the WCW icon, whose Ring Rules conversation also saw him express an interest in teaming with son Gage to face Rey and Dominik Mysterio.
The 54-year-old stated in August 2020 that he was contracted to WWE on a two-match-per-year deal running through 2023. He has wrestled thrice in 2021, meeting Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble before facing Lashley twice, at SummerSlam and Crown Jewel.
