HUGE Angle Scrapped From Last Night's WWE Raw?
WWE reportedly put a pin in this planned return for last night's Raw.
WWE may have pulled the plug on a Trish Stratus return on last night's Raw.
Talk that Stratus was set to make a comeback on the 13 February Raw started circulating last week. It emanated from the @WRKDWrestling Twitter account, which reported, correctly, that Lita was set to show up on the 6 February episode, with Trish following the next week. This would lead to Lita, Stratus, and Becky Lynch facing Damage CTRL at Elimination Chamber 2023 on 18 February.
The first part of this transpired, with Lita aiding Lynch in her 6 February cage match with Bayley. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful then tweeted after the show that @WRKDWrestling "had the Lita news", adding, tellingly, that there was "another spoiler" in the tweet.
This got people talking about Trish. Yesterday, however, @WRKDWrestling backtracked on the other half of their report, stating that Stratus wouldn't be on Raw. This was the consequence of an injury suffered by Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai.
Trish's comeback is "absolutely" still on the table, however, with the Hall of Famer in line for a "lengthy program."
Hate to backtrack on our 2nd tweet ever, but plans have changed due to Dakota’s injury and Trish won’t be at Raw tonight.
HOWEVER, she is absolutely on her way soon, and we can share that she will be around for a lengthy program. She definitely won’t be in a role most expect…

Lynch wrestled Bayley and Bianca Belair in last night's Raw main event, avoiding the pinfall in a bout Belair won.
