HUGE Main Event Set For Monday's WWE Raw
WWE announces massive main event for Raw on Friday's episode of SmackDown.
Monday night will be a biggie for reigning WWE Champ Drew McIntyre.
As revealed in a 30-second promo on SmackDown, McIntyre will answer Goldberg's title challenge for the 2021 Royal Rumble. Pretty much everybody knows his answer already - Drew will say yes and the Rumble will have two of the most random 'World Title' showdowns in recent memory.
Adam Pearce has already been named as an unlikely challenger for Roman Reigns' Universal Title on the same pay-per-view.
Following that (or maybe before it - WWE's promo vid seemed to suggest that McIntyre would deal with the Goldberg business first), Drew will go one-on-one with old rival Randy Orton. The headliner hasn't been announced as a title bout, but that could change before Monday's show.
Of course, McIntyre and Orton were regular foes in 2020. They worked several stunning brawls using gimmicks like the 'Ambulance' match stip and Hell In A Cell. The pair also had a solid 'No DQ' match on the 16 November edition of Raw. That's when McIntyre won his belt back.
Monday's Raw is the latest chapter in their feud, but it'll surely play back up to the Goldberg announcement.
