AEW hosted their much-anticipated 'Double or Nothing' rally in Jacksonville, FL tonight, and boy were they not messing around.

The hour long event outside the TIAA Bank Field stadium (the home of AEW owner Shahid Khan's Jacksonville Jaguars) sent some early shockwaves throughout the wrestling biz - and not just because of its elaborate pyro.

Cody and The Bucks were on hand to unveil all the names who have signed to the new promotion - and two massive bombshells were dropped during the reveal.

One of the confirmed signees is Hangman Page. As he was vowing to become the first AEW Champion, he was interrupted by none other than ex-WWE shutout PAC. The Geordie recently returned to Dragon Gate after being frozen out by his ex-employers for over a year. Good though Dragon Gate is, it's great to see PAC on a bigger stage more deserving of his supreme talent.

That wasn't the only major news from the presser. At the end of the festivities, who should emerge but Chris Jericho, announcing that he is "All In with All Elite Wrestling." Jericho's involvment isn't a massive surprise, given his participation at All In, but it's nevertheless one heck of a coup for the new venture. It also means, as we suspected, that his New Japan run is over.
