Huge Tag Team Match Teased At ROH Death Before Dishonor 2022
After dispatching Dem Boys, FTR were greeted by some familiar faces...
Following FTR's victory over the Briscoes last night at ROH Death Before Dishonor, a huge future tag team bout was teased as the Blackpool Combat Club made their way out to confront Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
In yet another Match of the Year candidate, Dax and Cash closed out the PPV by besting Dem Boys 2-1 in a brutal, brilliant two-out-of-three falls match to retain the ROH Tag Team Championships.
Post-match, the two tandems shared the traditional handshake of respect as part of the promotion's Code of Honor. From there, Harwood grabbed the mic to cut a quick promo, before he and Cash were greeted by the sight of William Regal, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta on the ramp as the PPV faded to black.
#FTR fought their hearts out here at #ROH #DeathBeforeDishonor. Have they sparked the interest of the #BlackpoolCombatClub? Is there a Champion's Challenge down the road? We will see you all on Wednesday at #AEWDynamite #FightForTheFallen LIVE at 8/7c on TBS! pic.twitter.com/9ZrI8QBY1V

Of course, earlier that night we'd seen Claudio defeat Jonathan Gresham to become the new ROH World Champion, while Yuta held off the challenge of Daniel Garcia to remain ROH Pure Champion. Now, it looks as if Regal's BCC may have the ROH Tag Team Titles in their sights, and the prospect of seeing FTR against any two of the Blackpool Combat Club's ranks is a mouth-watering one for many a wrestling fan.
On the Blackpool front, last night also saw it announced that Bryan Danielson has now been cleared to return to action and will face the aforementioned Garcia on this week's Fight for the Fall episode of AEW Dynamite. Likewise, interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will defend his prize against Rush on Wednesday.
