Huge Update On Triple H's WWE WrestleMania 39 Plans
Latest on 'The Game's biggest and most important booking decisions of the year.
Triple H has got WrestleMania 39 happening "exactly as planned" according to sources close to 'The Game'.
This is according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, who said (h/t 411Mania);
“Almost everything that I’ve heard, in fact, everything that I’ve heard months back — there have been changes from months back, but I would say a month back, everything happened exactly the same [as planned]...Every single week, there would be something tweaked in some way. Not big changes, but there’d be tweaked stuff. Now, there hasn’t been.”
The comments were made in relation not just to Vince McMahon's typically chaotic planning of past events, but also due to the recent surprising turns taken in the Women's Division on the vaunted Road To WrestleMania, as well as the drama leading into Saturday's Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley is set to take on SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, despite the company heavily teasing a bout with Bianca Belair late last year. Meanwhile, the Roman Reigns Vs Cody Rhodes match graphic was dropped to much excitement, but many have speculated that Sami Zayn might be included in some way regardless of how his match with 'The Tribal Chief' ends on Saturday.
It seems at very least for now, the novel concept of actually planning, booking and trying is serving the Chief Content Officer well.
