WWE's women once again stole the show at TLC 2018, as Becky Lynch, Asuka, and Charlotte Flair headlined with a barnstorming Tables, Ladders, & Chairs match, the conclusion to which should plant the seeds for a major Royal Rumble 2019 bout.

Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey emerged towards the end. She toppled a ladder Lynch and Flair were climbing, allowing Asuka a clear pathway to victory while building further heat between WWE's three most over women. Now, it looks like we're set for a Royal Rumble rematch between 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' and 'The Queen.'

Dave Meltzer first reported this on a pre-TLC episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. The night's booking fell in-line with the report, and it looks like we'll get a rematch of their gritty Survivor Series battle on 27 January.

Getting Flair vs. Rousey out of the way also clears the path for Ronda vs. Becky at WrestleMania 35, with 'The Man' considered an early favourite for the women's Rumble. She could face Nia Jax in singles action before then, with the duo's beef still simmering after last month's concussion/'broken face' incident, and Lynch smacking 'The Iressistible Force' around backstage last night.
