HUGE WWE Backstage Heat Between Nia Jax & R-Truth?
Jax legitimately injured Truth at Royal Rumble 2019.
Nia Jax attacked R-Truth before he could enter last week's men's Royal Rumble, "injuring" the new WWE United States Champion, and taking his number 30 spot in the bout. It was one of the night's most controversial moments, and not just for kayfabe reasons.
According to a new report from Rajah.com, Truth is legitimately upset with Jax after claiming she hurt his face and ankle during the incident. Later, WWE attempted to turn it into an angle by having Truth go hunting for Nia around the locker-room.
Jerry Lawler has since corroborated the story on his Dinner With The King podcast, stating the incident "got real heat," that "she blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face-first into the wall," and that "they were having to hold him back backstage."
If true, this is the latest in a long line of incidents involving Jax allegedly hurting other wrestlers. The most notable of these came before Survivor Series, when her wayward punch broke Becky Lynch's face, cancelling the long-awaited Ronda Rousey match, though Alexa Bliss, Zelina Vega, and others have also been hurt by 'The Irresistible Force' (allegedly).
It's getting harder and harder to argue against sending her back to developmental at this stage.
