HUGE WWE Vs. AEW Talent War On The Horizon?

Professional wrestling's labour market has rarely been as chaotic as it is today, with AEW's emergence and NJPW's ongoing surge spiking competition for signatures, making every name free agent a potential target for one of the world's major promotion. Now, it looks like a true wrestling war may be building.

Dave Meltzer noted on the most recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that a number of disenfranchised WWE talents are interested in exploring their options and talking to AEW. There is, however, a "wait and see" mentality among many of these performers, with some concerned about the company's long-term viability.

Fightful.com went one step further and reached out to several WWE Superstars to get their thoughts on the matter, though most didn't feel comfortable commenting on the situation. Those who were said that they were thankful that the sport now had more places to earn a stable full-time paycheque.

It's easy to see why misused talents like The Revival and Tye Dillinger may have their heads turned by All Elite Wrestling. Still, there's a long, long way to go before Cody and The Young Bucks' new venture truly gets rolling.
