It has only been a little over a month since the WWE welcomed Hulk Hogan back into the good graces of their Hall of Fame, and The Immortal One has already gotten himself heat with CEO Vince McMahon.

Hogan was ousted from the WWE in 2015 following the surfacing of leaked audio that captured a "racial tirade" from the Hulkster. A remorseful Hogan was eventually welcomed back to the company in July of this year. Prior to the Extreme Rules event on 15 July 15, Hogan addressed the locker room with an apology that has received a mixed reaction from fans and the roster alike.

Since his return, Hogan has been teasing an nWo reunion with original stablemates, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Multiple video clips have been posted to twitter promoting a big announcement from the trio for 27 October.

According to WWE insider Brad Shepard on the No Holds Barred podcast, the upcoming nWo project has no involvement with the WWE, the company which holds the copyright to the legendary black and white faction.

"Hulk Hogan, he’s got a little heat," Shepard noted, as transcribed by Ringside News. "Vince McMahon is not overly pleased with his little going into business for himself so to speak with the nWo."

While the exact nature of the nWo reunion has yet to be revealed, McMahon's reaction to Hogan's recent activities may pose a question as to when—or if—Hogan will be welcomed back onscreen with the WWE.
