Hulk Hogan Re-signs With TNA

By Darragh O'Connor /

Two weeks ago, Hulk Hogan walked out of TNA/Impact Wrestling on their Impact Television show leaving many to question if Hogan would return to the WWE or would re-sign with TNA. Last week, The Associated Press featured an interview with the Hulkster addressing his future with TNA and mentioning a recent run in with WWE COO Paul "Triple H" Levesque at a recent charity event. The article noted that with his recent contract expiring with TNA, he was one of the "hottest free agents" in sports entertainment. Hogan said about his current situation with TNA after his contract expired:
"We couldn't figure things out. We're talking, but I'm wide open right now."
http://youtu.be/qhQT7hBod20 It was then reported that Hogan had reached out to the WWE for a possible return, and mentioned his early talks with Triple H;
"He just welcomed me with open arms. He said if ever I decide I get the itch to come back home, the door's open."
This led to nothing as Hogan soon realised that WWE were ultimately offering far less money than what he could make in TNA. This report notes that "several WWE part-timers, including Brock Lesnar and The Rock, make more money competing in one high-profile match than what Hogan would make in one year under contract to TNA. With the WWE offering even less, the decision was simple." Today, a report by F4WOnline.com has confirmed that Hulk Hogan has agreed to return to TNA under a new deal. What will Hogan's role be after walking out on Dixie Cather as the Impact GM a few weeks ago and how will this tie into Bound for Glory PPV later this month?
