Hulk Hogan To Appear On ABC Comedy 'The Goldbergs'
Have...have they not seen him act?
Hulk Hogan is set to play himself in ABC comedy 'The Goldbergs', in the upcoming, imaginatively-titled episode 'WrestleMania'.
The plot synopsis, thanks to Hollywood Life, follows:
"Murray decides to buy WrestleMania tickets to spend time with Barry and Adam, but he buys fake tickets so they can’t get in. Meanwhile, Beverly forms her own neighborhood watch group when the Frentas decide neighbor Jane Bales will be the Watch Captain and not her. Even though Barry and Adam can’t get in, they’re still going to get the WrestleMania treatment when Hulk shows up!"
'The Goldbergs' chronicles the misadventures of a Jewish family living in 1980s America. They'll likely be in thrall to Hogan, who was a household name in that time period, and it's a good thing it's not set years later, otherwise things might get a little tense, jiggly jiggly.
Since Hogan is playing himself, this shouldn't prove terrible, just like *checks notes* literally his entire filmography. Will the producers opt for de-ageing digital effects, à la Blade Runner 2049 or The Irishman?
No need. The Hulkster reckons he can still go in full, fighting shape.
