Hulk Hogan's 26 Losses - From Cleanest To Screwiest

22. King Of The Ring 2002 - Kurt Angle

You can make a good case that no pro wrestler ever was better than 2002-2003 Kurt Angle, but is Hogan going to take a flipping German suplex? They did their best to piece together a watchable match, but it's mostly just baldness gags and Angle overselling bad Hogan punches.

At least the finish was clean: Hogan tried to drop the Big Leg, but Angle countered into an ankle lock and forced a submission. This is often said to be the only time Hogan tapped, which is technically true; he submitted twice to Lex Luger and had to just flail his arm weakly.

Either way, it's a definite feather in the (bald) cap of Kurt Angle to have gotten such a decisive win over Hogan.

Rating: Clean, Damn Clean
