The cause and circumstances of McCallum's passing are currently unknown, and, per his home promotion, his family have requested the utmost privacy at this time.

A veteran of the British independent wrestling scene, Lionheart will be best remembered for his time in ICW. Debuting for the promotion in 2007 (five years after starting out as a performer), McCallum trod a long, gruelling road to the top, but it all paid off for him in December 2018, when he captured ICW's World Heavyweight Championship at the promotion's signature Fear & Loathing event in Glasgow.

Lionheart's last match came on 16 June, when he defeated Alexander Dean to win the UEWA's European Heavyweight Title. A universally popular figure all across BritWres, he was a particularly effective heel performer, and also ran his own promotion, Pro Wrestling Elite, based out of Ayrshire, Scotland.

Countless tributes have poured in over the past 12 hours:-
