Result: Swann puts Sydal away with the Phoenix Splash (12:20).

Rating: Swann stole the show here to the surprise of absolutely nobody, especially while sharing the ring with Sydal (the dual hurricanrana spot and the closing sequence were particularly fantastic).

The match took a little while to warm up, but once it hit the sweet spot it stayed there until the closing bell.

Opening matches need to be energetic and crowd-pleasing, and this was exactly that for the most part. A very solid opener, if you can forgive Mack's horrid post-match shilling for the show's sponsor. 7/10
