Impact Wrestling's TV woes seemed to deepen with recent reports that a previously mooted agreement with AXS TV had fallen through, but it looks like this may now be back on the table.

This is according to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He writes that Impact's parent company, Anthem Sports and Entertainment, remain in talks with AXS Television over a potential deal, though non-disclosure agreements signed by both parties make further extrapolation impossible.

The AXS/Impact story has taken a number of twists and turns since coming to life; at one point, it was even suggested that the promotion were looking to purchase the network. Regardless, getting off their current station, Pursuit, must be a priority for Impact, whose viewership has cratered since switching from Pop TV.

Other Pop disasters include the network accidentally airing the wrong episode of Impact one week and a major recording snafu that splits the broadcast into chunks, with only the first downloading for thousands of viewers.

The NDAs make it difficult to report further on this matter, though Impact executive Konnan has promised that the promotion's next network will represent a big step forward.
