Impact Wrestling Confirm Next Impact Plus Special
Turning Point follows in the footsteps of October's Victory Road special.
Impact Wrestling have confirmed their next Impact Plus special, titled Turning Point, will take place on Saturday, 14 November.
The news comes after their successful Victory Road special at the start of October, which marked their first Impact Plus special since the no crowd era began. That night saw Eric Young successfully defend his World Championship against Eddie Edwards in a hard-hitting bout, while Deonna Purrazzo broke Susie's arm, eventually resulting in the Bound For Glory return of Su Yung.
Of course, this isn't the first time Impact have promoted an event under the Turning Point name. The event was a regular pay-per-view for the company between 2004 and 2012, and was also used last year as an Impact Plus special, main evented by a World Championship clash between Sami Callihan and Brian Cage.
While no matches have yet been announced for the special, it's possible this could be where the Knockouts Tag Team Championships tournament begins. It was announced this past Tuesday that the eight-team single-elimination tournament will begin in three weeks, so the 14 November date seems like a logical place to begin the proceedings.
