IMPACT Wrestling's Bound For Glory pay-per-view will clash with a live AEW Rampage taping, it seems.

The Anthem-helmed promotion's biggest card of the year was officially confirmed for Friday, 7 October. That week, AEW's Friday-night programming will be a live broadcast, with tapings immediately after for the fourth Battle of the Belts special:-

Fightful Select reported earlier, when IMPACT made the official announcement, that the decision was made to move Bound For Glory from its original Saturday, 8 October slot to avoid clashing with WWE's Extreme Rules premium live event. Going against a weekly show - AEW's B-show, at that - was the better option for IMPACT to reach a wider audience that weekend.

Teases for Bound For Glory were first dropped during Slammiversary last July, confirming the usual October timeslot. Albany, New York will be the location for this year's event, another change in the schedule for IMPACT; Danbury, Connecticut was the planned destination, per Fightful Select.

Last year's Bound For Glory saw Josh Alexander win his first World Championship, dropping it mere minutes later to Moose as he cashed in the Call Your Shot trophy. Now in his second reign, he'll likely headline the event for the second year in a row.
