It's official: IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion 2021 was a roaring business success.

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reports that last weekend's show was the eighth biggest pro wrestling pay-per-view since August 2020, drawing nine times as many buys as IMPACT's Bound for Glory 2020 pay-per-view last October:-

The exact number of buys is yet to be reported, but it sounds like investing so much time into hyping Kenny Omega and Rich Swann's historic title vs. title match paid dividends for the Anthem-helmed promotion, whose follow-up television show airs tonight.

AEW World Champion Omega felled Swann to claim Rich's IMPACT and (technically...) TNA World Title belts in the night's main event. Kenny continues his belt collector gimmick four months after first drawing Swann's ire, as the now-former IMPACT World Champion was denied entry into an area of the arena housing Omega and Don Callis during their first appearance on the show last December.

This business success continues Kenny's trend in IMPACT, with the promotion experiencing considerable increases in quarter-hour 18-49 television ratings since The Best Bout Machine first started appearing. Omega is being advertised for a championship celebration on tonight's show.
