Impact Wrestling To Lose Several Top Stars This Week?
Ethan Page and Taya Valkyrie head the list of Impact wrestlers whose contracts are up.
Impact Wrestling could be on the verge of losing several wrestlers over the coming weeks, including former champions Taya Valkyrie and Ethan Page.
A new Fightful Select report states that a number of performers have not re-signed new deals on contracts that expire by the end of the year. The promotion has already filmed its last set of television tapings for 2020, meaning that unless these wrestlers come to an agreement with the company before they are cast into the free agents' pool, they have likely worked their last Impact dates.
Fightful note Page as one of the wrestlers whose contract is up, though his tag partner, Josh Alexander, will be staying with Impact. PWInsider had previously reported that Valkyrie's contract expired at the end of 2020 as well.
Valkyrie is the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion in Impact history, holding the belt for 377 days from January 2019 to January 2020. As one half of The North, Page holds the same honour with the Tag Team Championships, though his and Alexander's run lasted three days longer.
The Rascalz worked their farewell match on last night's Impact show, with the trio expected to depart for WWE soon.
