Josh Alexander, the current X Division Champion in IMPACT Wrestling, has issued a challenge for All Elite Wrestling's best performer to challenge him at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view.

Talking to IMPACT in an exclusive Twitter interview, 'The Walking Weapon' claimed the following:-

"We're talking about all these different promotions coming in at Bound For Glory, well, AEW, yeah, you know who I'm talking about. I'm saying you give me your best and we will see which division matters most in this company."

Thus far, Alexander's only interaction with an AEW star has been a brief staredown with the reigning AEW and IMPACT World Champion, Kenny Omega. It's worth pointing out that in the past, Option C has been a choice for the X Division Champion at the time to cash in their title for a shot at the World Championship. This hasn't been done since Brian Cage did so in 2019, though.

Elsewhere, Josh has also defended the title against a New Japan Pro Wrestling-contracted name, that being El Phantasmo. The duo had a mini-banger during the Under Siege special on IMPACT Plus this past May.

Bound For Glory goes down on Saturday, 23 October. A trailer for the pay-per-view, released during last month's Slammiversary pay-per-view, teased talent from AAA, AEW, and New Japan for the show, with no names yet known.
