John Yurnet, who competes on the independent scene as Mr. 450, suffered a knee injury during a match with Mustafa Ali on Tuesday's episode of 205 Live. Now, Yurnet has started a GoFundMe campaign to cover the cost of his MRI and knee surgery.

Yurnet was competing under his real name on the WWE Network-exclusive show when he tweaked his knee, forcing him and Ali to rush to the finish of their match. He later took to Twitter to share what had happened, telling fans that he blew his knee out during the show at the Allstate Arena.

On Thursday, Yurnet tweeted out a link to a GoFundMe page, where the star is attempting to crowdfund his medical expenses. As of this writing, 163 people have contributed $3,790 to the $10,000 goal.

There's a clear red flag raised by the fact that Yurnet is seeking financial assistance from fans, given that his injury occurred in a WWE ring. Though the company doesn't provide health insurance for their "independent contractors," it was believed that they covered expenses for injuries incurred in their rings. If this is not the case for non-contracted talent, it doesn't reflect particularly well on WWE.

Yurnet's GoFundMe page can be found here.
