Injuries Force Late Change To AEW Revolution Match

Pay-per-view match undergoes massive change with World Championship implications.

Last night's edition of AEW Dynamite teased a potential change in one of the biggest matches on Sunday's Revolution pay-per-view card...but it was nothing to do with the ruse perpetrated by a fully fit Hangman Page.

The AEW World Heavyweight Championship match will go ahead as planned, but the "Meat Madness" match was postponed as of last night, replaced in the interim by an "All Star 8-Man Scramble" to determine a Number One Contender to the AEW Championship. Tony Khan confirmed this was due to injuries in a post on X shortly before Dynamite aired, noting that;

Original competitors Wardlow, Powehouse Hobbs and Lance Archer will now be joined by Hook, Brian Cage, Chris Jericho and winners of qualifying matches pitting Magnus against Matt Sydal and a three-way between Penta El Zero M, Dante Martin and Bryan Keith to take place on Rampage and Collision respectively. In both cases, each man has never appeared in a solo capacity on pay-per-view.
