If you were wondering how AEW were able to feature a Chris Jericho segment on last night's Dynamite despite the veteran currently being in the United Kingdom, it's not because the former World Champion's newfound Wizard status gives him teleportation powers.

No, the Jericho Appreciation Society's beatdown of Ruby Soho was pretaped.

Fightful Select has reported as much, saying that AEW captured the footage last week. This would have been before the veteran crossed the Atlantic Ocean for his ongoing tour with Inside The Ropes in the UK. Currently, the Canadian is expected back in time for next week's Dynamite.

The report states that the segment may have been filmed non-sequentially with last week's Blood & Guts match - a hellish, bloody affair that the Jericho Appreciation Society lost to Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz.

Jericho and the Society's attack of Soho interrupted an in-ring segment from Kingston, who claimed that his beef with Chris was far from over after failing to make his rival bleed at Blood & Guts. Ruby's loose alignment with Kingston was strengthened last week, when, to neutralise Tay Conti, she hit the ring for an outside-the-cage attack.

Conti was the only wrestler shown getting physical with Soho in the pretaped segment, slamming her in a car door.
