Interesting Names Backstage At AEW Dynamite This Week
A number of interesting people were backstage at this week's AEW Dynamite - including a legend.
A trio of significant Ring Of Honor names were backstage at this week's episode of AEW Dynamite in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
ROH and independent wrestling legend Homicide was amongst the group, writes PWInsider's Mike Johnson. The 45-year-old, whom AEW stalwart Eddie Kingston considers a mentor, has previously appeared on-camera for the promotion at Rampage: Grand Slam on 24 September 2021, saving Kingston and Jon Moxley from Lance Archer and Minoru Suzuki in a surprise New York City appearance.
Joining Homicide were ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni and former company owner Cary Silkin. The latter, who had served as an ROH ambassador after selling the promotion to Sinclair Broadcasting in 2011, posted a number of backstage photographs after the event:-

AEW owner Tony Khan announced his purchase of ROH from Sinclair in early March, doing so live on an episode of Dynamite. The cult brand has since ran one show, Supercard Of Honor 2022 (1 April), to considerable critical acclaim, though its next live event is still to be confirmed.
Khan has previously signalled his intention to keep ROH going as a wrestling brand. The group's final weekly show on Sinclair aired last week, leaving it without a distribution platform.
