It's Official: Daniel Garcia Is #AllElite
Finally, confirmation that AEW have signed Daniel Garcia to a full-time deal.
It's official: Daniel Garcia is now under full-time All Elite Wrestling contract.
Fightful Select confirmed this on Tuesday, noting that while Garcia was yet to receive an X is #AllElite graphic at the time of publishing, he had indeed signed with the promotion. This was closely followed by AEW president Tony Khan confirming the signing (including said graphic):-
This year @GarciaWrestling came into @AEW with a great reputation built through his hard work on the indies, & he’s continued to work hard here in #AEW + he’s shown no fear, never backing down from anyone, even the best in the world. Last week saw Garcia state he had signed with AEW during an episode of Evil Uno's vlog.
The 23-year-old has responded to Khan's tweet with the following, saying he is ready to become a major player and one of the best wrestlers in the world:-
I told myself that I didn’t want to sign somewhere just to say I got a contract. I wanted to go somewhere that would help me become the best wrestler in the world. I know AEW is where I can become that.
I plan on being a major player in this company for a very long time. https://t.co/3yTQPwIRf2

Daniel had previously worked under a looser agreement with AEW, as confirmed by Khan in August:-
“He is under an agreement, and I think he can do a lot more things and really shine for us in the future, and really stay with us for a long time, hopefully. Daniel Garcia is doing great work and he had a great match with Moxley tonight in the main event match of the show.”
As well as staying active in AEW, Garcia retains a heavy independent schedule at the moment, having worked the likes of Davey Richards, Minoru Suzuki, Alex Shelley, and more on wrestling's smaller stages in recent weeks. A wrestler since 2017, he is widely considered amongst the sport's most promising prospects.
