Jacob Fatu Publicly Thanks Triple H For "Second Chance" (WWE News)

Jacob Fatu has revealed that addiction issues almost derailed his WWE dream before it properly got started. The 'Samoan Werewolf' addressed this during an appearance on Stephanie McMahon's podcast, and he was keen to thank her husband Triple H for giving him a "second chance" to make a first impression on the company.
At one point, Jacob's kids were asking their dad when the family was moving to Florida. They'd been excited about him signing with WWE, but then personal problems got in the way and Fatu didn't really know what to tell them: "It just was all bad. 19 days, I didn’t know if I had a job".
Eventually, Hunter called Jacob up and said he'd like to do business. He told the soon-to-be popular star that "everybody deserves a second chance". That's something Fatu appreciated. In fact, he's endlessly grateful for it, and it's why he broke down in tears behind the curtain after beating Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42.
Their 'Unsanctioned Match' went on second during 'Mania's opening night this past April.
Fatu was told that Trips wanted a word with him once it was over. Then, the boss hugged Jacob, congratulated him on a job well done and the wrestler burst into tears: "I remember telling him, crying telling him thank you, thank you, man. Just you’re the one that gave me that second chance. I remember, man".
Hunter congratulated Fatu again and told him that he was the one who made it happen, nobody else. Even so, The Bloodline member is eternally grateful for that support.
