Jake Atlas Says He'll Be "Just Fine" After AEW Rampage Injury
AEW's recent signee says he "won’t be gone long" after injury setback.
Having suffered an unfortunate knee injury during his AEW TV debut, Jake Atlas has updated fans to say he'll be "just fine" after this setback.
On Friday's Rampage, Atlas injured his knee after springboarding in his match against Adam Cole. As soon as he landed - and was met with a superkick from Cole - Jake grabbed his knee, then was unable to take the Panama Sunrise before Cole got the submission win via a kneebar.
Reassuringly, Atlas has indicated that he shouldn't be out of action for too long.

Whilst the most recent episode of Rampage was Jake's AEW TV debut, he had previously competed on AEW Dark towards the ends of December; picking up a win over Serpentico. Prior to that, the 27-year-old announced he was stepping away from wrestling to focus on his mental health following an appearance at Ring of Honor's Death Before Dishonor PPV in September.
Like so many, Jake Atlas was released by WWE last year, being let go by Vince McMahon's sports entertainment juggernaut in the company's 6 August 2021 round of cuts. He would formally become #AllElite on 4 January.
