The news was confirmed on last night's IMPACT Wrestling, with company EVP Scott D'Amore giving Storm the match he wants with 'The World Class Maniac':-

Debuting in IMPACT on their very first show in June 2002, Storm has become a pinnacle of the promotion. Alongside the likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Christopher Daniels, he's one of the names that springs to mind when you think of the words IMPACT Wrestling.

His list of accolades in the promotion speaks for itself. A one-time World Champion, a 14-time World Tag Team Champion (seven each with the IMPACT and NWA titles), a King of the Mountain Champion, a two-time Tag Team of the Year winner with Chris Harris, and part of the 2004 Match of the Year with Harris vs. Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper at Turning Point in that Steel Cage Match, 'The Cowboy' is a true stalwart of IMPACT Wrestling.

His match next week will be the 95th time he and Young have faced off in IMPACT. Congratulations to James Storm on this incredible accomplishment.
