Jeff Hardy Sentenced As DUI Case Is Finally Resolved

AEW's Jeff Hardy enters "no contest" please, sentencing completed.

Jeff Hardy has this week been served a 10-year driving ban and a $4,000 fine after being sentenced for three driving charges in Volusia County, Florida.

Via PWInsider, Hardy entered a plea of Nolo Contendere (no contest) on Thursday 23 February. This meant withdrawing his prior plea of not-guilty on charges of Driving while License Canceled/Suspended/Revoked, DUI [third offense within 10 years], and Driving Violation Driver's License Restriction).

On top of having his driver's license suspended for 10 years and the $4,000, Hardy incurred court costs of $586. His vehicle has been fitted with an interlock device for two years and will be impounded for 90 days.

The 45-year-old AEW star was also sentenced to 38 days in jail with credit for time served concurrent with the whole period, meaning he won't spend time behind bars. Jeff must also attend a court-mandated DUI school or drug rehabilitation program, partake in community service, and will be on probation for 24 months.

Hardy had been arrested by Volusia County police officers on 13 June 2022. He has been absent from AEW ever since, with company founder Tony Khan stating he wouldn't bring Jeff back until he had completed a treatment program.
