As PWInsider.com exclusively reported, the WWE Hall of Famer left his position as the company's Senior Vice President of Live Events last week. Despite having confirmed this report with multiple sources, however, the outlet could not "100%" confirm the timeline of his exit. That being said, "the belief among some is he finished his official duties this past Friday."

Jarrett joined back up with WWE in 2019 as a producer before finding a spot on the promotion's creative team by March of the same year. A role as an executive when it pertained to the producing of live events eventually followed, though the former TNA figure would quietly part ways with WWE during the pandemic on the back of said live events being put on hold throughout this period.

Double J was back in the mix by May of this year, though, with it being noted by a source at the time that he was "taking over live events."

Jarrett had also recently found himself at the centre of a rather blockbuster SummerSlam 2022 weekend, rocking up on the WWE PLE as special guest referee during The Usos vs. The Street Profits bout over the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships before teaming with Jay Lethal to take on Andrade El Idolo and Ric Flair in the main event of Ric Flair's Last Match.

What lies ahead for the ever-present Jarrett remains to be seen.
