TNA founder Jeff Jarrett didn't hold back when examining TNA's failings.

Jeff Jarrett believes that TNA/Impact Wrestling should've done everything in their power to hold onto AJ Styles back in 2013.

The WWE Hall Of Famer told his 'My World' podcast listeners that he "could not believe it" when officials told him that Styles had left the company - AJ has since said that TNA asked him to take a 60% pay cut. That was just never going to happen, and Jarrett doesn't think such an insulting offer should've been on the table in the first place.

Rather definitively, Jeff said on his pod that TNA/Impact "was a complete and utter mess" around that time. Behind the scenes, Jarrett was also thrashing out his own position, and that eventually led to him departing the promotion he had started too.

Jeff added that AJ was "essentially forced out" of the company. He reckons this was a huge mistake from executives, because Styles was "the one guy you don’t want to lose". Jarrett could see that TNA was on the ropes and making "awful" decisions daily.

Nothing, to Jeff, was more "awful" than losing AJ.
