Not a drill nor a photoshop of the inevitable, Jeff Jarrett has signed with All Elite Wrestling having only recently left WWE in the same year he also worked the biggest show in GCW's eventful history and the "final" match of another industry icon.

The announcement was made shortly after an on-screen debut for the 'King Of The Mountain', who arrived playing his 'Last Outlaw' character in an angle with Jay Lethal and Darby Allin. But 'Double J' will be more than just a guitar-swinging heel in the company - Tony Khan tweeted to confirm that he'd be working as the organisation's Director Of Business Development.

Shortly after this, Jarrett commented, adding that he was "Really looking forward to things to come — both in front of and behind the camera…"

Jarrett was released from WWE in August, shortly after refereeing The Usos/Street Profits Tag Team Title match at SummerSlam a day before he also worked the main event of the Ric Flair's Last Match pay-per-view alongside Lethal against 'The Nature Boy' and Andrade El Idolo, his son-in-law.
