Jim Cornette Brutally BURIES AEW's The Elite
Ex-WWE man Jim Cornette has no time for Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks or Hangman Page.
Jim Cornette never misses a chance to blast some of AEW's top stars.
The former WWE man punted more criticism at workers like Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Hangman Page during a now-expected rant on his podcast. Amongst other things, Cornette called The Elite a "clown club", and dismissed Page as "bland and disinteresting".
Corny's brutal burial didn't stop there.
He singled out Page for more by calling him "worthless as an attraction to begin with" - Jim is not a fan of Hangman's cowboy persona, and he believes the audience for him and The Elite is "shrinking by the week". It's pretty clear that Cornette thinks Omega, The Bucks and Hangman are a hindrance to AEW more than they are positives.
Omega and The Bucks recently returned to action following suspensions for their part in controversial backstage scuffles with CM Punk. The trio are currently locked in a 'Best Of 7' series vs. Death Triangle. Meanwhile, Hangman is working a feisty feud opposite Jon Moxley.
Perhaps the only top AEW star Cornette has any time for right now is reigning World Champion MJF.
