AEW commentator Jim Ross is unlikely to appear as a talking head on future episodes of VICE's 'Dark Side Of The Ring' series.

Ross told listeners via his 'Grillin' JR' podcast that he feels he was "misrepresented a time or two" during the show's third season last year. Specifically, JR has issues with the editing, and thinks the producers "narrowcast" opinions a little too much when they're trying to illustrate a certain point or push the episode in a set direction.

That doesn't sit well with the announcing legend.

Jim did tell fans that he'll still tune into Dark Side if VICE whips up a fourth series - he's a fan of the show, and admires the "entrepreneurial spirit" shown, but he didn't appreciate the way VICE would "bite into the apple of the dirt" on occasion.

Closing, the WWE Hall Of Famer said the show's staff "are good guys and they mean well". He's just hesitant to put himself in that kind of situation again, and doesn't want to look back with "unfortunate negative afterthoughts" like he does now.

JR's talking head commentary would be a huge miss to the fourth season.
