Jim Ross Shoots Down Reports He's Cutting Back AEW Commentary Role
A recent report claimed JR was moving away from being a full-time announcer.
Following a RingsideNews report that Jim Ross was soon to transition away from being a full-time announcer for AEW, the legendary JR has moved to squash such talk.
Ringside claimed that AEW sources informed them Ross would be largely focussing on non-announce duties, such as backstage segments and sit down interviews. This story added how Jim himself had requested this, with him to still serve as an announcer for special matches or appear as a guest commentator.
