Yesterday saw big news coming out of Philadelphia regarding Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka, as a judge in Leigh Valley has determined that the Superfly is not competent to stand trial in the 1983 of his then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino.

It was also announced that a new hearing will be held in six months time, but the defence say that if anything, Snuka's condition will be worse by that point.

Snuka was diagnosed with stomach cancer back in August of last year, and his attorney has also disclosed that Snuka has dementia, the condition which led to yesterday's non-competency decision. This all but concludes the trial outside of surface resolutions, as any and all verdicts that could come from the case are rendered impotent by Snuka's lack of standing.

Argentino died on May 10th 1983 of traumatic brain injuries sustained from a moving head hitting a stationary object, and her death was treated as a homicide from the get-go, as her body was also covered in more than two dozen cuts and bruises.

Snuka was the only suspect in the investigation, a case which is still open to this day.
