John Cena Makes Surprise WWE Appearance To Promote WrestleMania 37
WWE News - John Cena Helps To Promote WWE WrestleMania 37!
With WrestleMania 37 having now been officially set to take place at Raymond James Stadium on 10 and 11 April, tonight's ongoing WWE Raw saw the company run a fun skit promoting not only 'Mania 37, but the subsequent two editions of the company's annual Showcase of the Immortals.
While Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Sasha Banks all dressed up as members of a news team as part of this promotional push, the biggest surprise was an appearance from none other than John Cena - or, as he was known during this spot, Hugh Can't See Me.
Before things got going with what played out like something from Southpaw Wrestling, there was also a greeting from WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.
Formally confirming what had been reported over the weekend, WWE has now outlined the following:
- WrestleMania 37 at Tampa, Florida's Raymond James Stadium on April 10 and 11
- WrestleMania 38 at Arlington, Texas' AT&T Stadium on April 3, 2022
- WrestleMania 39 at Inglewood, California's SoFi Stadium on April 2, 2023
Of course, the use of John Cena here will get tongues a-wagging that Cena could return to compete at this year's Granddaddy of Them All. Big Match John was last seen in a losing effort to 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36.
