Johnny Gargano has only been out of WWE for a few days but the NXT Triple Crown Champion is already making his first post-Stamford moves.

The 34-year-old, who must have quietly been working on this in the background, announced the reopening of his Pro Wrestling Tees store on Friday (10 December):-

This was the same day that Gargano's WWE contract expired, ending his six-year tenure with the promotion. WWE generally prohibits its independent contractors from operating merchandise stores unaffiliated with the promotion.

On top of the PWTees store, Gargano has announced that he will soon start creating content for Twitch and YouTube:-

WWE's controversial third-party platform regulations prevent certain wrestlers from creating content and generating revenue on such sites, though whether or not this would impact Gargano is unclear. Adam Cole, Johnny's former NXT rostermate, was allowed to continue on Twitch when the regulations came into play in 2020, as is generally the case for NXT wrestlers.

As Gargano's WWE contract was allowed to expire, the former NXT Champion is not bound to any kind of non-compete clause. He is free to sign and appear for other promotions immediately.
