Jon Moxley Vs. Shawn Spears Announced For AEW TV
It appears the main event of their second ever episode of TV has been set...
Jon Moxley will face Shawn Spears as part of AEW's second TV episode, set to take place at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday 9th October.
Moxley versus Spears joins the previously announced match between The Young Bucks and Private Party, which is a first round match in AEW's Tag Team title tournament, on the Boston show.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the TV debut of AEW on TNT, with the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. hosting AEW's first TV episode of 2nd October. The Boston show will follow, and the third show takes place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, all of which will air live from 8-10pm on TNT.
We are also just a couple of weeks away from AEW's All Out pay-per-view, which sees both Jon Moxley and Shawn Spears in action. Spears faces Cody Rhodes following the shock attack at Fyter Fest, with Tully Blanchard in the corner of the man formerly known as Tye Dillinger.
Moxley meanwhile, fresh off a win over Joey Janela at Fyter Fest and an incredible showing in this year's G1 Climax, goes up against Kenny Omega in what could be an instant classic.
