On the back of numerous reports of Jonah announcing the impending conclusion of his current Impact Wrestling deal at the Rebellion PPV on April 23 in media interviews, a night that saw him fall to Tomohiro Ishii, it appears Jonah has officially left the Impact building.

Jonah would actually wind up working the tapings that would follow said PPV event in order to round off his feud with PCO.

It was on Twitter where the former NXT North American Champion ultimately confirmed his departure from the company, though, with his goodbye tweet coming after the recent Under Siege go-home episode - a night that saw him lose to PCO in the Monster’s Ball main event.

As Jonah put it on Twitter:

"There’s a wild chapter in the book of JONAH that is all about PCO … HE IS NOT HUMAN. IMPACT see ya down the road,”

Jonah has plied his trade in an Impact ring on the back of being abruptly released from WWE in November 2021, working for both Impact Wrestling, NJPW, and a number of independent promotions ever since.

Though there's no concrete news on Jonah's next destination, with AEW always being an option for the hottest talent in the land, the bruising star is expected to continue working dates for NJPW, PROGRESS, and all while making appearances in Australia, too.
