Kazuchika Okada Could Make AEW Debut NEXT WEEK
'The Rainmaker' was rumoured for "Big Business" debut but it looks like he could be landing sooner
Kazuchika Okada could land in All Elite Wrestling as early as the post-Revolution edition of Dynamite.
This is according to Fightful Select, who reported the following;
"We’re told that the company has been hoping and at least tentatively planning for Kazuchika Okada to be in the fold by the March 6 episode of Dynamite."
The report added that;
"Tony Khan noted on today’s media call that there’s something he’s very excited about coming in Atlanta (for next week’s Dynamite). We’ve heard plenty of discussion that Okada debut there, but have heard from numerous sources that the hope as of mid-February was for Okada to appear in the company by then."
Okada wrapped up his business with New Japan Pro Wrestling with a series of final bouts, amidst months of reports that he was set to leave and both AEW and WWE were interested in securing his services. Those stories settled into a firm belief that the former IWGP Champion had agreed to terms with All Elite Wrestling, at which point the news became more about when rather than if.
The March 6th edition of the flagship is set to feature new graphics and a new stage, ahead of the Big Business special ostensibly designed to roll out the red (blue?) carpet for Mercedes Moné.
