Kenny Omega Says This WWE Star Is "One Of The Greatest Of All Time"
AEW World Champion throws lavish praise at WWE legend...
All Elite Wrestling's Kenny Omega has called Brock Lesnar "one of the greatest athletes and performers of all time," doing so on Twitter.
The Best Bout Machine tweeted in response to a Twitter user asking him about a potential dream match with Lesnar on Monday:-
Lavish praise indeed, though hell is likely to freeze over before Kenny gets the opportunity to fight Brock. Odds of AEW and WWE ever forging a working relationship are slim - despite Omega's hopeful comments in conversation with talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy last week.
Lesnar has been absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania 36, where he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. There's currently no word on when he might return.
Technically a free agent after his WWE contract expired last summer, The Beast Incarnate is still expected to return to Vince McMahon's promotion once Vince McMahon presents a deal that works for Lesnar, who elected to stay home rather than work during the ongoing global health crisis.
Omega, meanwhile, is entering his third month as AEW World Champion, having cheated Jon Moxley out of the belt at Winter is Coming last December. The duo will battle in an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch at Revolution on 7 March.
