Kenny Omega is now a triple World Champion in professional wrestling, having beaten Rich Swann to take the IMPACT Wrestling strap at last night's Rebellion 2021 pay-per-view.

The Rebellion main event ran around 23 minutes, with Omega scoring the victory via his One-Winged Angel finisher. It was a big, dramatic match with an exciting layout typical of The Best Bout Machine, who celebrated with Don Callis and The Good Brothers as the show went off the air.

Swann had reigned as IMPACT World Champion since defeating Eric Young last October. Omega's arrival in IMPACT bristled him all the way back in December 2020, as he was denied entry to the company parking lot after Kenny and Callis had pulled up in their elaborate bus.

Omega was already AEW World Champion prior to Rebellion, having taken the belt from Jon Moxley in December 2020. His other World Title is the AAA Mega Championship, which he has held since October 2019, beating Rey Fenix for the gold.

Omega becoming IMPACT World Champion wasn't the night's only title change, as Josh Alexander became X Division Champion and Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering took the Knockouts tag Team Titles.
