KENTA Appears On AEW Dynamite

KENTA makes a shocking appearance on AEW Dynamite, laying out Jon Moxley with the Go 2 Sleep.

In what sounds even a little nuts to just type out, KENTA made a shocking appearance on this week’s AEW Dynamite.

After Kenny Omega, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows emerged victorious over Jon Moxley, PAC and Rey Fenix in the Dynamite main event, things broke down outside – complete with the presence of Lance Archer – to the point where the audience was left with the image of Mox stalking a fallen Omega.

As a masked mystery man entered the ring and laid out Moxley, unmasking himself to reveal KENTA, then hit the Go 2 Sleep on the former AEW World Champion.

KENTA, of course, has a guaranteed shot at Moxley’s IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship, and not only was his appearance here a massive surprise, it also throws up all kinds of questions over a working relationship between AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Since AEW launched in late 2019, fans have pondered if and when we’ll see a form of crossover between the promotion and NJPW.

With KENTA nowadays a mainstay of New Japan, it looks as if that door could have just been well and truly kicked open in the most spectacular of fashion…
