Kevin Owens Taking A Break From WWE?
Will Hell In A Cell be SmackDown star KO's last WWE match for a while?
Kevin Owens has hinted that he's taking some time off post-Hell In A Cell.
The SmackDown star posted a quick message on Twitter thanking fans for their support, but said, "I need a little break". It's unclear at time of writing whether or not this has anything to do with the wrist injury KO appeared to suffer midway through his match with Sami Zayn.
Owens continued working the match though, so maybe not.
It's also worth noting that WWE are holding another Draft in late-August/early-September. Owens only jumped to SmackDown from Raw during last October's shakeup, but there's nothing stopping him from heading back to Monday nights soon.
He might not be away that long - KO didn't go into details about exactly how many weeks/months he'll be out. It doesn't look like he'll be around for the next few episodes of SmackDown, put it that way.
Owens ended the latest chapter of his (seemingly never-ending) feud with real-life pal Zayn by putting the conspiracy theorist over. WWE might fancy reigniting that rivalry again when KO returns, or they could stick him on Raw as a rival for Bobby Lashley.
What would you like to see WWE do with Kevin Owens? Would you rather he stayed on SmackDown, or would you like to see him on Raw again?
